Due to the need of an office surface expansion and the incorporation of rooms for common use, a new building was projected on the actual uncovered parking lot, respecting the main construction and language characteristics of the existing one.
The surface of each of the four plants represented an 38% growth. In addition, two levels of new garages were projected to meet the growing demand for parking spaces.
The new access to the garages was located on the main facade, making it possible to simplify the means of control and security of the building.
The ground floor of the current building was redesigned to accommodate common use spaces like: reception, meeting rooms, showroom and dining room. Regarding the outdoor spaces, expansion of the dining room and meeting rooms were proposed.
The care of the environment was present in the project, using materials that improve the thermal conditions inside the building and reduce energy consumption. Parasols were designed for solar control on the north and west facades of both buildings. In the common walls of the garage sector, small perimeter flower beds were proposed for vines.
The building will be executed with reinforced concrete structure without beams. The facades will be resolved with a curtain wall similar to the existing one with the addition of the mentioned parasols.
The color palette respects the identity of the company. In both the PB and connector graphics, the institutional color is used. In the furniture design, melamine products manufactured by the company and others are combined with native wood from its plantations in the province of Misiones.
